For the last decade, Brendan Ross has worked for and run a number of companies in the ecommerce, local advertising, and ticketing space.
Ross is currently President and CEO of RazorGator Interactive Group, a $120 million live event ticketing company specializing in Hard to Get tickets. In addition to operating a fan-to-fan exchange, RazorGator offers fan experiences, exclusive inventory, and yield management for major events including the NCAA Final Four, the Rose Bowl, and the Super Bowl. RazorGator also provides ticket management software to large corporations via its market leading TicketOS application.
Prior to RazorGator, Ross served as President and CEO of Fanfare Media Works, a $65 million local advertising company with online and offline components. Fanfare’s products, including advertising on supermarket receipts and shopping carts, are available at more than 10,000 supermarkets across North America.
Ross previously served as President of ReserveAmerica, which was sold in 2009 by IAC to Active Network in a private transaction. ReserveAmerica is North America’s largest outdoor recreation reservation provider, offering internet and call center reservations for some of the most well known and high demand outdoor attractions in the world, including the Yosemite National Park, the Washington Monument, and the beach front state parks of California.
Ross also served as Sr. Director of Product Management at Ticketmaster, launching web-based software products including Ticketmaster Auctions, TicketExchange, CRM tools for clients, and Web-based client reporting. Ross’s first project at Ticketmaster was the launch of the Columbus Blue Jackets TicketExchange site in January of 2002, which enabled Blue Jackets season tickets holders to resell unused tickets to fans. TicketExchange is now used by over 60 professional sports teams in the NBA, NHL, and NFL.
Ross previously held positions at Mercer Management Consulting, at Xanga.com, and in the strategy group at MediaOne Broadband (acquired by AT&T). He graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University with degrees in Sociology and Economics.
Ross lives with his wife Jill and their two children Sadie and Samson in Los Angeles, California.
